A soggy morning was followed by a beautiful afternoon at Big Met. The facility was in pristine condition and received multiple compliments. The two man tournament which included a scramble format on the front and a better ball format on the back 9 was a fun event for the 42 teams that participated.
The teams of Jack Garswood and Brian Polick along with Ryan Stefanski and Brian Smith went low with both teams firing a 62.
Stefanski’s eagle hole out on the 18th proved to be one his great moments at Big Met on Saturday. Jack Garswood was able to use his driver to its maximum potential which led to less approach shots and more eagle putts on par-fours, as driving the green always makes the hole easier. Both teams had a balanced attack through each format and the experience and course knowledge of Big Met paid off.
Tied for 3rd place with a team score of 63 were Angelo/Carano and Lahnan/Radis.
