Brian Polick of Middleburg Heights posted an even par score of 72 to win the Cleveland Metroparks Golf Seneca Stroke Play Tournament on Sunday in Broadview Heights.
The recently renovated front nine of the A course challenged a majority of the 35 golfers who competed, with new fairway bunkers and greens with false fronts. Then the wind picked up on the back nine of the A course to continue to challenge the players, with only Polick matching par.
Polick is fresh of a shared victory at the Sleepy Hollow 2-Player Better Ball with partner Dave Sotka last weekend. Back-to-back wins should go a long way toward CMG Player of the Year points…
