A T7 finish by Steve Blackburn Jr. at the Greater Cleveland Amateur Championship allowed him to leapfrog into first place on the 2018 Cleveland Metroparks Golf Player of the Year leaderboard with 105 points.
David Sotka is now in second with 87. Andy Grayson made a big move going from 13th to 3rd with his T2 finish at the Cleveland Am.
Allen Freeman remains in first place in the Senior Division, but his lead has been cut to 23 point as Rob Schustrich is now in second with 70 points after a solid Cleveland Am showing.
Points are still up for grabs this weekend at the Seneca Stroke Play. After that the final point events are: Shawnee Hills Stroke Play on Saturday, August 25; Bill Barbour Cup at Sleepy Hollow on Sunday, September 9; Big Met 2-Player Scramble on Saturday, September 22; and the CMG Tour Championship at Manakiki on Saturday, October 13.
