With only the Tour Championship at Manakiki remaining, Steve Blackburn Jr. has secured his position at the top of the 2018 Cleveland Metroparks Golf Player of the Year race.
With 40 points awarded for a first place finish at Manakiki, Blackburn’s 41 point lead over Ryan Stefanski assures him of this year’s POY honor.
What makes the result even sweeter is that last year, Blackburn Jr. finished in second place by one point.
Jack Garswood remains in the third position trailing Stefanski by 25 points, but 32 points ahead of Brian Smith. Dan Predovic’s win at the Big Met 2-Player Scramble moved him into the from T17 to tenth.
