Steve Blackburn Jr. continues to slowly add to his lead in the 2016 Cleveland Metroparks Player of the Year Series.
Paired with Jack Garswood at the Bill Barbour Cup, Blackburn’s victory increased his lead to 17 points over Nick Anagnost. He now had 190 points, with Anagnost second with 173.
Brian Polick hanging onto third with 159. Four-in-a-row POY winner David Sotka sits in fourth with 149 and is the last player with a mathematical chance of catching Blackburn in the final two events.
A few seniors earned points at the Bill Barbour Cup, including Andrew Jendre who moved from third to second with 78 points. That still leaves Allen Freeman in a solid 20 point lead with 98 points.
The last two events in the 2016 Cleveland Metroparks Player of the Year Series will be the Two-Player Scramble at Big Met on September 24th, and the Tour Championship at Manakiki on October 8th.
