The invitation list is now set for the Akron District Golf Association’s 2016 Golfer of the Year Tournament presented by Tire Source!
The top 24 players on the ADGA’s GOY Points List in both Championship and Senior divisions are eligible to compete at Shady Hollow Country Club in Massillon in this 36-hole individual stroke play event on September 17th and 18th.
Players have until WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 at 5 p.m. to confirm their entry into the field! To enter, email ADGA Director Tim Davis or call him at (330) 608-2096 to confirm participation. (As a courtesy, if you are eligible to play but are certain you cannot, please call, text or email Tim stating so; it will help him with filling the field.)
Players not responding by the deadline will be assumed to be out, and the next player(s) on the Points Lists will be invited until a full field of 24 players in each division is secured.
Defending their 2015 titles are Aaron Crewse (above) in the Championship Division, and Bill Downing (below) in the Senior Division.
