As they say, “It’s all over, but the shouting”.
David Sotka has locked up his fourth consecutive Cleveland Metroparks Player of the Year award.
He and partner Nick Anangost paired to win the 2-Player event at Big Met last weekend. That put Sotka into a 42 point lead over Steve Blackburn Jr., his closest competitor. The Tour Championship at Manakiki awards 40 points to the winner, so Sotka cannot be caught.
After the final event, the top ten point earners for the season will split a $1,300 pot of Cleveland Metroparks gift cards. The top four points leaders are all in the field…
UPDATE: rain and cold forced the postponement of Saturday’s Tour Championship; play has been rescheduled for Thursday, Oct 8th starting at 2p.
