Brian Smith’s withdraw from the Greater Cleveland Amateur did not lose him his position atop the 2014 Cleveland Metroparks Player of the Year standings.
Smith still stands in first place with 95 points, but a slew of top-ten finishers in the GCAC closed the gap.
Ryan Stefanski now stands in second place with 87 points, followed by Tyler McHugh with 83 and Steve Blackburn Jr. with 81.
Patrick Luth’s second place finish in the GCAC earned him enough points to round out the top five with 77.
