A hot, humid day with a light breeze allowed for a fun event with a unique format. The 2020 Seneca Stableford gave some of the best golfers in the area a chance to be aggressive on every hole, as the modified points breakdown per hole had a bogey max score.
Jimmy Wild got off to a hot start on the challenging Baldwin Course with an eagle on the 4th hole, then followed that up with a birdie on the 6th hole. Jimmy finished with smooth back nine on the Chippewa Course en route to a two point victory with a total of four points.
The only other two golfers in the field to finish with positive points were Jonathan Riemer and Colin Burns, who took an opposite approach. They survived the challenging front 9 and made nice birdies on the closing holes of the tournament.
Chris Ramigla and Ryan Stefanski both with great local knowledge of Seneca rounded out the payouts with a T4th.
Many compliments were given to Dave Donner and his staff on the wonderful playing conditions on the renovated Seneca courses. Thank you to all that participants in this years Seneca Stableford.
