Familiar names were among the top finishers at the Cleveland Metropark’s 2019 Bill Barbour Cup.
The team of Jack Garswood and Steve Blackburn Jr. (the 2015 & 2016 champs) tied with the team of Brian Smith and Jimmy Wild for first place, both shooting a score of 4-under par 67.
Finishing third was the team of Ryan Stefanski and AJ Borisa (the 2017 champs) with 69.
The format of having the first six holes a scramble, the middle six a better-ball and the final sic a modified alternate shot always proves interesting and a challenge. See the breakdown below of each teams’ format total.
Scott Saari took much of the challenge out of the fifth hole at Sleepy Hollow on Sunday, holing an iron shot from 150 yards out in the fairway for an eagle-2.
