The 2018 Seneca Stroke Play Tournament was a tightly contested event. The three top finishers tied for first with an impressive score of 1-under par 71.
Steve Blackburn Jr., Rob Schustrich, and Ryan Stefanski put the recently renovated Seneca Golf Course to the test, all of whom have not played the new Chippewa 9 until today.
Jon Clark made his first visit to Seneca Golf Course worthwhile with a solo 4th place finish, one shot back.
Interesting note, the longer and some would say more challenging Furnace Run course course played more than one stroke less on average for the entire field over the shorter Chippewa course.
A huge thank you goes out to Dave Donner and his staff on preparing the golf course on a very challenging soggy early morning. Many compliments were given to the recently renovated golf course and high praise to the conditions and playability. Many participants have not been to Seneca since the renovations and were extremely delighted with the golf course and are looking forward to returning.
