Mother Nature threw it all at the field this year at Big Met: sunshine, wind and rain. But the players stuck it out for Saturday’s Scramble/Better Ball.
Steve Blackburn Jr. and Ryan Stefanski took the win with a fantastic 11-under par 61, good for a four-shot victory by a solid team.
In second place was the team of Allen Freeman and Randy Crider with a 65.
Another two shots back at 67, a three way tie followed for third place by Ryan Augustitus and Jeff Deal, Jack Glending and PJ Malik, and Mark Foss and Steve Blackburn.
A special shout out to Hayley Johnson for representing as the only junior and only lady golfer for the day in the field!
Next up on the schedule for the Cleveland Metroparks Golf Series is the Sleepy Hollow Spring 2-M Better Ball on Saturday, June 2nd.
