Chase Johnson of Barberton (above center) set a competitive course record at Avon Oaks CC, shooting 63 during the second 18 holes of 36 to earn medalist honors at the 2016 U.S. Amateur Cleveland Qualifier.
Blaze Hogan of Big Rapids, MI (left) and Tyler McHugh of Aurora (right) will also compete in the U.S. Amateur at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Township, Michigan August 15 – 21st.
