Fifteen teams made the trip to Belmont Country Club in Perrysburg on Monday to challenge for two Qualifying spots in the 2025 Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship at Oklahoma City Golf & C.C.
One team jumped out to the lead right from the start of the day and never gave it back.
After starting with back-to-back birdies (with both members of the team making birdie at number two), Jodie Han + Meadow Tian would cruise to a four-stroke victory at Belmont. Han, a Lewis Center native and class of 2028, and Tian, a member of the Olentangy golf team class of 2026, earned the medalist honors against a field that was loaded with Division I college golfers.
The second team of qualifiers was determined by a two-hole playoff, which came after some drama in regulation.
Audrey + Elizabeth Ryu and Reagan Ramage + Skylar Dean played in the final grouping of the day, saving all the drama for the final holes.
Ramage, a Western Kentucky University commit, and Dean, a Ball State University commit, had a one-stroke lead for the final qualifying position, but both made a bogey on the 18th hole to force a playoff.
On the first playoff hole, both Audrey, a current member of the Furman Women’s golf team, and Elizabeth, a Rutgers University golf commit, were able to match Reagan’s par to force a second playoff hole.
On the 20th hole of the day, Audrey was able to sink a 10-foot birdie putt to clinch the second spot in Oklahoma City.
