On windy, challenging day the team of Ryan Stefanski and Nick ‘Niko’ Anangost birdied five of their last six holes to shoot a better-ball score of 7-under par 64 to win the 2015 Cleveland Metroparks Golf Spring Tour 2-Player Better Ball at Sleepy Hollow.
After just two birdies and a bogey on the front-nine, Stefanski’s birdie on the 10th to get the team rolling to shoot a back-nine 30 to win by one shot.
The father-son team of Ray and Lou Durban shot a very solid 6-under par 65. Lou shot 4-under on his own ball on the back-nine to lead their team’s charge.
Coming in third place with a score of 4-under par 67 were two senior players, Mark Foss and Steve Blackburn Sr.
The next event on the Cleveland Metroparks Golf schedule is an individual stroke play tournament at Seneca Golf Course in Broadview Heights next Sunday, June 14th.
