A day without rain! It was a very close competition at Manakiki Golf Course for the Cleveland Metroparks Golf 2014 Two-Player Spring Scramble.
Two teams tied for the top spot with 4-under par rounds of 68, resulting in a scorecard playoff.
The father-and-son team of Ray and Lou Durban came home with a back-nine score of 33 to edge out Joe Mannix and Dan Gallagher with a 34 back-nine score.
Taking the 3rd spot with a (-3) score of 69 was Jonathan Riemer and Jonathan Keppler, as their back nine score of 32 was one shot better than the 4th place finishers, Scott Saari and Paul LaGrotteria.
The final event on the Spring Tour schedule is the Big Met 2-Player Jumble next Saturday at Big Met Golf Course in Fairview Park.
