FINAL RESULTS: 2012 Senior Cleveland Amateur

Steve Blackburn Sr. rode a strong 3-under par front nine to a second day score of 69, good for a two-day total of 3-under par 141 and a one shot victory in the 2012 Senior Cleveland Amateur Championship.

Known as “Senior” at the Greater Cleveland Skins Game where he is a leaderboard fixture season after season, Blackburn ended Norton Brick’s two year run as the Senior Cleveland Am champ with this win, his first in the event.

Mark Borlin of Solon finished alone in second place, just one shot back at 2-under par 142.

Blackburn and Borlin were the only two players to finish the tournament under par.

Dave Donofrio of Fairview Park shot a steady 73 – 73, 146 to win the 60 to 69 year old division, while Ward Watkins from North Ridgeville shot 75 – 77 for 152 to win the 70+ division.
