Nick Palladino fired rounds of 71-69 for a 4-under par total of 140, which included a sizzling 31 on the final nine, to leave no doubt as to who would be the winner of the 2012 Manakiki Course Championship.
In the process, Palladino set a new Manakiki Course Championship scoring record, too.
Runner up, David Sotka shot a steady 72-74=146 to finish alone in second place.
Players shooting scores of 9-over par 153 and better have advanced to the finals of the Greater Cleveland Amateur Championship, to be played right here at Manakiki GC August 10 thru 12th.
