Vaughn Snyder of Massilon, OH won the Lake Erie Golf Tour tournament played at Good Park Golf Course in Akron Thursday.
In wet, sloppy, conditions, Snyder fired an impressive -3 (67) to win by two shots over Steve Lee of Columbus -1 (69) and Louis Lapos of Sheffield -1 (69).
With the win, Snyder grabbed his first LEGT victory, and jumped up to 4th place on the money list.
In the Amateur Division, Zach Glassman returned to his winning ways, beating last weeks winner Matt Heestand by one stroke with a -1 (69). This was Glassman’s 4th LEGT win of the season!
The next event is Thursday, August 4th at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course in Brecksville.
