Ryan Gutowski of Fairlawn, Ohio won the Lake Erie Golf Tour tournament at Chippewa Golf Club on Thursday, posting a strong 6-under par score of 65 to win by three shots.
Gutowski finished his round strongly, making birdies on three of the last four holes to beat last week’s LEGT event winner Tim Ailes.
In the Open Amateur division, former Cleveland State standout Patrick Elber won by one stroke, shooting an even par score of 71.
The next event on the 2011 LEGT schedule is at Aurora Country Club next Thursday, June 16th.
