Despite some heavy rains late in the day on Friday, the course was in fantastic shape for an extremely competitive first day of play in the 2024 Big Met Course Championship.
AJ Borisa leads after day one with an impressive 4-under par 68, with a host of accomplished players in Andrew Malkus (70), Brian Smith (70), Eric Wonkovich (70) and Lucas Liberatore (71) close behind to round out the top five.
Timothy Smith and Justin Trzebuckowski finished at an even par 72 on the day.
With 11 Greater Cleveland Amateur Championships spots available, tomorrow promises to be a must-follow afternoon.
