Good Park Golf Course in Akron will host the two long-running Summit County Amateur Championships within 15 days of each other starting the first of August.
Both events are 36 holes of individual stroke play contested at scratch, with an interest-adding optional big skins game.
SUMMIT COUNTY AM
The 46th Summit County Amateur Championship will be played on Saturday, August 1st and Sunday, August 2nd.

SENIOR SUMMIT
Two weeks later, the Senior Summit County Amateur Championship for players ages 50+ with three age divisions (50-59, 60-69 and 70+) will return exclusively to Good Park on Friday, August 14th and Saturday, August 15th.
Typically run as a two golf course event, Barberton Brookside has a property sale pending, so that course has been removed from the tournament site rotation for 2020.
Kurt Peterson defends on the Senior side.

CALL FOR ENTRIES
The fields for both events typically sell-out, and in this “age of COVID” that likelihood is even greater given the field sizes in other recent events.
