Mike Angie still leads the pack!
It was a small turnout at Thunder Hill in Madison, but points leaders Mike Angie and Steve Blackburn Jr. each grabbed a skin to maintain their 1-2 positions on the Cleveland Skins Game Leaderboard, both over the “four figure” mark.
But it was John Niedzialek who was the big winner on Thursday, grabbing both pin shots and a skin.
Angie birdied the par-3 third hole with a long putt, and Blackburn Jr. took home a skin with a birdie on the sixth hole. Rob Schustrich nabbed the third skin on the night with a par on the second hole, while Niedzialek earned his skin with a par on the ninth.
Skins paid $31.50 each and the pin shots were worth $12.50 each.
Only five more weeks left until the season ending “Double Down” event and the Thompson Cup Trophy presentation to the 2009 Greater Cleveland Skins Game Champion! Next week, the Skins Game moves to exciting Wicked Woods in Newbury starting at 4:30 p.m. Players can enjoy a great $13 green fee including the cart!
