The Greater Cleveland Skins Game opened its 26th season under cold and sunny conditions at Fowlers Mill Golf Course in Chesterland on Thursday.
Everyone is chasing four-times-in-a-row Defending Champion Steve Blackburn Jr. of Mentor.
Eighteen players participated, and two skins were won.
Dan Predovic from Strongsville birdied the difficult dogleg par four 6th hole.
Erron Gomez from Westlake birdied the 9th hole for a skin.
Skins paid $207 each.
Pin shot winners were Mark Foss with the Mulligan’s Pin Shot on the 3rd hole worth $71, and newcomer Jim Krivanek from Pepper Pike cashed in with a pin shot on the 7th hole worth $54.
Next week, the Greater Cleveland Skins Game moves to Little Mountain Country Club in Concord with a 4:45 pm start — and reduced green fees for our players!
