Mentor’s Mark Belasic shot a Sunday 68 to rout the field by five; a score of 156 earned a spot in the Cleveland Am
Two great days of gusty and hot weather made the course a challenging test this weekend for the field of 60 players in the 2024 Manakiki Course Championship.
Mark Belasic followed up his first round of 1-over par 73 with a stellar 4-under par 68 to take the championship. He beat the rest of the field by five strokes.
Chris Okeson and Jake Morgan both shot +2 for the weekend to tie for second place.
Shaun Kloetzer shot the second-lowest round of the tournament on Sunday with a 3-under par 68, propelling him into a tie for 4th with Robert Schustrich at +3 for the weekend.
14 players qualified for the Greater Cleveland Amateur Championship at Sleepy Hollow on August 9-11.
