It took a sudden death playoff between first day leader Austin Powell ( 68 – 76) and second-day low-scorer Steve Blackburn Jr (73 – 71) to decide the 2022 Manakiki Course Championship on Sunday. Both players finished at even par 144.
The playoff went to the fourth hole in a sudden death, where Powell made a birdie-3 to take the championship.
After removing the exempt contestants in the field from consideration, the following players earned a spot in the 2022 Greater Cleveland Amateur Championship at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course on August 12 – 14:
