It was a tie at the top in the Championship Division for the 2016 Akron District Golf Association Bud Light 3-Man Shamble at Brookledge Golf Course on Saturday.
Young guns Austin Rohrer, Zak Drukenbrod and Steve Bragg (picured above) tied with multiple-time ADGA winners Mike Simpson, Dave Oates and Jim Krivanek at 17-under par, in a format that counts two scores of three on each hole after selecting the best tee shot from the entire team.
In the Senior Division, it was ADGA Director Tim Davis partnering with the always formidable team of Jim Cea and Ron Bell to lap the field with a strong back nine and a winning with a score of 16-under par.
The next event on the 2016 ADGA schedule is the Pindy Wagner 2-M Scramble at Oak Knolls Golf Club in Kent on Sunday, August 21st.
