After a front nine scramble score of 4-under par 32, the team of A.J. Borisa and Steve Blackburn Jr. caught fire on the back nine at Big Met Golf Course on Saturday. In the better ball format, the pair traded birdies and an eagle on their way to sizzling score of 7-under par 29 — besting the field by 3 shots on the back nine and four shots overall.
The teams of Nick Anagnost / Jeff Bors and Jason Jendre / Andrew Jendre both shot impressive rounds of 32-33 = 65 to finish in a tie for second place.
