The high scores at the 2014 Bill Barbour Cup reflected a day that featured hail, sun, rain and winds.
The event featured 3 formats. The opening six holes were played as a better-ball, the middle six as a modified alternate shot and the final six were played as a scramble.
Playing in his final tournament as an amateur, Nick Palladino teamed with Dan Metzendorf to claim victory. The team came in 3-under in the scramble format to shot 2-under par 69 to win.
Also shooting 69, with the low alternate shot of 1-under, but losing in a card playoff were Ryan Stefanski and Brian Smith.
Dave Sotka and Steve Blackburn Jr. made a charge at the end shooting 4-under in the scramble format to come in third with 71.
