Co-champion Kurt Peterson tees off Sunday at Lake Forest in the ADGA Lazor.
On a sticky, steamy Sunday afternoon, the team of Dave Oates and Kurt Peterson jumped out to an early lead with a scorching 5-under par score of 31 on the front nine at the tricky Lake Forest Country Club in Hudson in the two player better ball scoring format.
But partners Brendan Jenkins and John Blackburn stormed back on the inward nine, posting a 4-under par score of 32 coming home — including birdies on the final three holes — to finish in a first-place tie at 7-under par 65 with Oates and Peterson, two shots clear of the rest of the field.
In the Senior Division, it was a ‘usual suspects’ result: the team of Larry Lahnan and Fred Miller finished in a tie for first with Jim Cea and Ronnie Bell at 3-under par 69.
