Justin Lower and Richie Schembechler put on a show at Chippewa Golf Club in Doylestown on Sunday in the final 2o1o event of the Stark County Amateur Golf Association series. Both players finished with a sizzling-hot score of 5-under par 66.
Justin Lower created his own little birdie-fest by making eight birdies on the day, including six straight birdies starting on the ninth through the 14th. Talk about being “in the zone!”
Richie Schembechler (who, as some may have heard, shot a 57 at Lyons Den not long ago) continued his great play this summer to join in on the victory.
If these two players are in the field at the Chippewa Club Championship next weekend, everyone better hope for the Kevin Larizza’s classic pin placements for Sunday!
