EVENT FORMAT: Individual Stroke Play
This 36-hole stroke play tournament is a scratch event conducted by Cleveland Metroparks Golf, open to amateur golfers 50 years of age and over. The are separate divisions open to amateur golfers ages 60 – 69 and ages 70 and over. Players are expected to have a current handicap index of 8.4 or less in order to reasonably compete. USGA rules govern all play. This event is part of the Player of the Year Tournament Series.
– Scratch event open to all senior players
– Prizes paid in merchandise-only card
– USGA rules in effect where applicable to event
– Registration closes at 9pm the Monday prior to the event or when full. Late entries accepted based on availability.
– Prizes determined by number of entries
– Top finishers earn points towards the Senior Player of the Year lists, which earn bonus prizes at season’s end
