Cleveland Metroparks Golf Player of the Year Standings: May 2016

Through two events in the Cleveland Metroparks Golf Player of the Year Series, Steve Blackburn Jr. has jumped out to an early lead.

By winning the Big Met Two Player Scramble/Better Ball with partner A.J. Borisa, Blackburn has 34 points and leads Jason Jendre and Andrew Jendre by 12.

Allen Freeman, A.J. Borisa and Ty Kovach are tied for fourth place with 20 points.

Four senior players over 50 years of age have earned points in the new CMG POY Senior Division Bonus Pool. Andrew Jendre has 22 points and leads Allen Freeman by 2 and Mark Foss by 8.

The next three CMG Series events are the Sleepy Hollow 2-Player Better Ball on June 4, the Seneca Stroke Play on June 12 and the Senior 2-Player Scramble at Sleepy Hollow on June 18.
