The teams of Mike Simpson & Dave Oates and Dave Trier & Dan Marr shared top honors in the 2010 ADGA Lazor 2-Man better ball event at Chippewa Golf Club on Saturday.
Each team shot a 6-under par 65, two shots better than the three teams who tied for third at 67.

Lambos put together a solid round of even par 72 on Sunday at the challenging Seven Hills Country Club in Hartville to win the 2010 ADGA Lanning’s 36-Hole Stroke Play Tournament by one shot over Aaron Crewes of Uniontown.

But a huge number of players are right on their heels, including 11 players who are within five shots of the lead going into day two at Seven Hills CC on Sunday.
On an absolutely spectacular Sunday for golf in Northeast Ohio, a pair of teams shared the top spot in the Akron District Golf Association’s 3-Man Shamble at Lake Forest Golf Club in Hudson.
The team of Nick Lambos, Mike Simpson and Kurt Peterson tied for the win with the team of Randy Skorman, Dean Cutlip and Allen Freeman. Both teams finished at 13-under par 131 in the part scramble/part better ball format, where players select the best tee shot and play out individually from there, counting the two best scores for the team.
