Twenty-six teams competed in this year’s event. Despite heavy rains the night before, Manakiki was in excellent condition, as umerous players commented on how nice the greens were throughout the day.
Winning this year’s event was the team of Jimmy Wild and Steve Blackburn Jr with an impressive 10-under par 62. Steve and Jimmy were consistent, shooting a pair of 31s. Needing a birdie on the 18th, they came through in the clutch and secured the win.
Coming in second place a 9-under par 63 was the team of Nick Anagnost and David Sotka. Tying for third with 8-under par 64s were the teams of Colin Burns/Rick Diechert and Joe Blackburn/Walt Robertson.
