ADGA Golfer of the Year Tournament Headed to Shady Hollow

Shady Hollow Country ClubA new venue has been finalized for the Akron District Golf Association’s 2014 Golfer of the Year tournament, and it’s a course that has never appeared on the association’s rota.

After some scheduling issues with Congress Lake could not be ironed out, Tournament Director Dave Chapple negotiated an agreement with Shady Hollow Country Club in Massillon to host a 36-hole Golfer of the Year finale on September 27 – 28th.

“We are excited to be going to Shady for the first time with an ADGA event,” said Chapple. “With tree lined rolling fairways and small undulating greens, Shady is a picturesque hidden gem. And at 6,751 yards from the Blue Tees and Course Rating of 72.3, the golf course will be a challenge for our players.”

Complete event registration details to follow in early September…
