On a day when both the course and weather were challenging, Sleepy Hollow saw an ace (on Hole #12 by Matt Heestand), a long hole-out eagle, and two players separate themselves from the rest of the pack in the 2016 Course Championship and Cleveland Am Qualifier.
Jacob Appleby shot a round of 69 that didn’t include an ace or eagle, just solid, steady golf.
Peyton White had a round of 71 that was little more adventurous, including a hole-out eagle on 11, a par-5 eagle, a double-bogey, and bogies at 17 and 18.
