The weather has not cooperated on Thursdays so far this spring. Rain and cold conditions were present again, this time at Powderhorn Golf Course in Madison.
Nine players braved the elements and three skins were won.
Brian Perkins birdied the par four 6th hole.
Dave Sotka birdied the short par four 7th hole.
Steve Blackburn Jr. birdied the par four 9th hole for a skin — and has nabbed the top spot on the Leaderboard three weeks in.
Skins paid $69.00 each.
Sotka also grabbed the pin shot on the 160 yard 5th hole. That skin was worth double, as no player in the field hit the 8th hole green. His double pin paid $63.00.
Next Thursday, the field moves to Manikiki Golf Course in Willoughby Hills at 5pm. We hope for good weather, as a large turn-out is typical at Manikiki….
