The Greater Cleveland Skins Game headed east on Thursday to Madison Country Club, where the course was in great shape. A north lake breeze made for a sunny but chilly night.
Five skins were out on the night with eighteen players in the field.
John Niedzialek led the pack with two skins, as he birdied the uphill par four 2nd hole with a 25 foot putt and the par four fifth hole with 20 foot putt.
Dave Sotka made his first skin of the 2015 season with a birdie on the par four 1st hole.
Then defending champion Steve Blackburn Jr. won his first skin of the season, too, with a 10 foot putt on the 160 yard par three 4th hole.
Bill Speirs of Munson had the most dramatic skin with an eagle from a 30 foot putt on the uphill par five 8th hole.
Skins were worth $82.80 each.
Pin shot winners were Steve Blackburn Jr. on the 4th hole and Erron Gomez on the long par three 9th hole. Pin shots paid $63 each.
Larry Kerns still holds onto the lead after week 5.
Next week, the Skins game stays out east with a 5pm tee time at Powderhorn Golf Course in Madison, with a great $15 green fee rate.
