Robert Karshner of Painesville is enjoying a late season surge!
Karshner grabbed two skins and the entire skins pot Thursday night at Little Mountain Country Club, making birdied at the par four 11th and 15th holes to take the $299 skins pot.
Karshner is on a roll, as he just qualified to represent the U.S. in this year’s World Amateur Golf Tour Final to be played in Belek Antalya, Turkey in November. Karshner won his flight in last weekend’s U.S. National Amateur Golf Tour Championship played in Eastern Pennsylvania. Congratulations to Bob!
Pin shot winners were Mark Foss with the Mulligan’s Pin Shot on the 160-yard 14th hole worth $52. The other pin shot was another dead tie, with George Smiltins and Steve Blackburn Jr. on the 12th hole taking home $19.50 each.
Only two weeks to go with the race for the Thompson Cup still up in the air! The Greater Cleveland Skins Game moves to Manikiki next Thursday with a 4:15 start.
