It was “Double Down” night at Fowlers Mill Golf Club in Chesterland, under ideal conditions. With the stakes doubled, Mark Foss wasted no time moving back to the top of the 2015 Greater Cleveland Skins Game Leaderboard as the first player to crack the four-figure mark on the season.
Foss made birdie at the tricky par-4 10th hole, good for a skin and surpassing 3-in-a-row defending champion Steve Blackburn Jr., who was shut out on the night.
Four skins were out on the night, paying $172.50 each
John Niedzialek got into the action twice, with a birdie on the par four 12th hole for a skin and taking home the pin shot on the 180 yard par three 13th worth $90.
George Smiltins double-dipped on the difficult 190-yard par three 17th hole, taking home the Mulligans Pin Shot there worth $120 and making the putt for a birdie skin.
The final skin went to Dave Sotka on the par three 13th hole, making a long putt for birdie.
The home stretch of the season starts next week at Tanglewood with a 5 pm start…
