Twelve players dodged rain drops Thursday as the Greater Cleveland Skins Game moved west to Sweetbriar Golf Course in Avon for the first time.
A bunch of skins were out:
Steve Blackburn Jr. birdied the 2nd hole for a skin.
Mark Foss kept his hot streak going with a birdie skin on the 3rd hole.
Phil Bojc had a birdie skin on the 4th hole.
Erron Gomez earned a skin on the sixth.
Joey Didonato won one on the 7th hole.
George Smiltins eagled the 8th hole for the evening’s final skin.
Skins paid $46.00 each.
Pin shot winners were Bojc on the 4th hole (double-dip!) and Steve Blackburn Sr. made his way onto the board on the 7th hole.
Pin shots paid $42.00 each.

Note that the top five players on the Greater Cleveland Skins Game Leaderboard at mid-season will gain an exemption into the Greater Cleveland Amateur Championship to be held at Manikiki in August.
Next week, the Skins Game heads to Chardon Lakes with a 5:30pm start.
