A cool and sunny night brought out 18 players to The Fairways at Twin Lakes for Week 6 of the Greater Cleveland Skins Game.
The golf course was in great condition.
Three skins were won on the night.
In his first appearance of the season, Al Freeman jumped on the leaderboard with some pin and skin action on the 165-yard par-three second hole. Freeman canned the tricky putt for his first skin of the year along with the pin shot. Skins paid $138 and Freeman grabbed another $54 for his pin shot making him the big winner on the night.
Then the Blackburn family went to work.
Steve Blackburn Sr. his first skin of the year as well when he birdied the short par-four 5th hole.
Steve Blackburn Jr., the 2013 Greater Cleveland Skins Game Champion, made a birdie skin on the 380-yard par-four 7th hole.
Joey DiDonato hit it to 2 feet on the 150 yard 8th hole for the Mulligan’s Pin Shot there, which was worth $72.
Dan Predovic still leads the pack in hopes of capturing his first ever Greater Cleveland Skins Game Championship and the Thomson Cup.
Next Thursday, the Greater Cleveland Skins Game moves to Madison Country Club starting at 5pm.
