It was a “no skin night” out at Powderhorn Golf Course for Week 7 of the 2013 Greater Cleveland Skins Game season.
All holes tied out!! Each hole on the back nine had multiple birdie ties except for the long par-4 10th hole and the short par-3 17th hole.
Brian Perkins blitzed the course with five birdies, too, but none held up.
Since no skins were won, each player received his $23 back.
Pin shots were won, however, and they actually had a big effect on the 2013 Leaderboard!
Worth $52.50 each, the pin shots went to Dave Sotka on the 175-yard par three 14th hole and Brian Pentek on the 160-yard par three 17th hole.
Sotka’s small take has pushed him to the top of the Leaderboard by $14, ahead of Chris Horne who has led since Week 1.
All that could change very quickly next week, however, as the first “Double Down” event will be held at Fowlers Mill Golf Course in Chesterland starting at 5pm. Please note this special event has a $60 entry fee (plus golf), and is limited to players who have participated in two or more skins game events this year.
