It was light turnout at Sugarbush Golf Course in Garrettsville this Thursday.
Three skins were won on the evening, and the name at the top of the 2012 Leaderboard added a bit of cushion to his season-leading total.
Steve Blackburn Sr. continued his hot streak with a birdie skin on the 170-yard par three 2nd hole, which bumped him into the third position on the 2012 Leaderboard.
Bob Karshner made a birdie skin on the par four 4th hole.
And early-season leader Mark Borlin got back on track with a birdie skin on the par four 6th hole.
Skins paid $69 each.
Pin shot winners were the Leaderboard’s top man, Mark Foss, on #2 worth $27, and Bob Karshner with the Mulligan’s pin shot on #5 worth $36.
Next week will be the final night of play to determine the top 5 players on the Greater Cleveland Skins Game Leaderboard, which will be used to gain an exemption directly into the Greater Cleveland Amateur Championship.
The game moves to Legend Lakes next Thursday, July 12th starting at 5 p.m. with a $20 green fee rate.
