The first ever trip by the Greater Cleveland Skins Game to Sugarbush Golf Club was a soupy one.
The skies opened up once again just prior to the start of the event, with a deluge that flooded the greens and fairways.
But eleven players waited out the storm, and that patience paid off for three.
Steve Blackburn Jr. posted an eagle on the par-5 490-yard first hole that paid off for $126.00.
Mark White had the only other skin on the evening with a birdie on the 437 yard 9th.
And Erron Gomez grabbed both pin shots on the evening for $77.00 total.
Dave Sotka shot a cool 4-under par score for the nine holes on Thursday — but failed to cash! He still sits atop the 2011 Leaderboard after 15 weeks of play.
Next week, the Greater Cleveland Skins Game travels to Punderson State Park Golf Course in Newbury, with play starting at 5 p.m.
