The top five players on the 2011 Greater Cleveland Skins Game Leaderboard at the completion of play on July 14th (Event #13 at Quail Hollow) will gain exemption into the 54-hole finale of the 2011 Greater Cleveland Amateur Championship at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course in Brecksville, Ohio August 12-14.
Greater Cleveland Skins Game Director John Niedzialek and Big Met Pro and Cleveland Am committee member Mike Raby made the announcement today.
Players in the top five on the GCSG list must still meet all of the eligibility requirements set by the Cleveland Am committee and are responsible for sending in their completed, paid entry blanks by the stated deadline.
Only the players in the top five are eligible for exemptions; the list will not be extended further in the event that any of the players eligible have already gained entry into the Cleveland Am through other qualifying methods.
