Scott Heran and Michael Mintz played steady golf on a challenging weather day to win the 2010 Cleveland Metroparks Spring Tour 2-Man Scramble / Better Ball tournament at Big Met Golf Course on Saturday.
Heran and Mintz shot an 8-under par 64 to win by a single shot over the team of Gerard and Brandon Isobe. The Isobe team scorched the front nine scramble format with a 7-under par 29, but could only muster an even par back nine in better ball.
A good sized field participated on a windy and rainy day, with 26 teams playing in the Big Met event.
