Tom Evans wasted no time extending his season-long lead on the field Thursday night on the River Course at Fowlers Mill, as he made a $138 birdie putt from over 50-feet on the first hole of the evening, the 10th!
Evans also captured the pin shot on the 17th hole worth another $84 to his total, so he is playing — and winning — at a record-setting pace in his chase for his second Thompson Cup!
Four skins total were won on the night with each one paying $138.
Eddie Neer captured the next skin on the 11th hole with a birdie, and Kyle Huss took home a skin on the 12th hole with a birdie as well.
Paul Kish made his way onto the 2010 leaderboard with a double-dip on the par-3 13th hole, capturing both a skin and a pin shot there.
The field of 24 players left holes 14 through 17 open with no birdies.
