The Fairways at Twin Lakes will host an 18-hole 2-Man Cash Scramble on Sunday June 3rd. And now in conjunction with the Akron District Golf Association, ADGA Golfer of the Year points will be at stake.
UPDATE: 24 teams are entered as of Tuesday morning, May 29th 9 a.m. Don’t get shut out; the field is full at 32!
The Fairways at Twin Lakes is a 9-hole course in Kent that has recently made considerable renovations and upgrades to its facilities. They have been hosting a series of small cash scrambles for players since last fall, but with this announcement hope to step those events up a level.
Entry fees for the scramble will be $160.00 per team, which includes tournament prizes, greens fees, cart and a skins game.
The course is charging only $20 per man for the green fees, so $120 per team of the entry fee money will be returned as prizes and skins.
The field will be limited to the first 32 amateur teams who enter.
As a bonus, the event will be treated an ‘added points event’ for the ADGA’s Golfer of the Year standings, much like the Turkeyfoot Scramble played two weeks ago was.
To enter a team, call the Twin Lakes pro shop at (330) 673-7888 or email Chris Plute.
